"Uncle John's Tree" is how this large pine is most often referred. Named for John McLaren, the park's most prominent superintendent, this tree is decorated with colorful strings of lights each Christmas. It is the located on the lawn in front of McLaren Lodge and is the second tree to stand on the site since the park's inception.
