Return to map

The Francis Scott Key Monument, sculpted by William Westmore Story, is located at the east end of the Music Concourse. It was built in Italy and shipped around the Horn in the Italian Bar, "Pretro B." The voyage took 182 days. It was originally erected adjacent to the Academy of Sciences, but was relocated to make room for Hall of the Academy in 1967.
