The Roman Gladiator
Return to map

The Roman Gladiator is located across from the M.H. deYoung Memorial Museum. It was sculpted by Guillaume Geefs, and marks the ceremonial ground-breaking spot for the 1894 Mid-Winter Exposition.

Note: This sculpture has been temporarily removed while construction for the new deYoung Museum and Concourse parking structure is underway.
