The Gold Star Mothers Rock is located in a peaceful 15 acre grove of redwood trees known as the Heroes' Grove. The rock is a 20 ton granite boulder inscribed with the names of local sons and daughters who gave their lives in World War I. It is located near the 10th street entrance to the park.
