The Doughboy

The Doughboy is located in the Redwood Memorial Grove between John F. Kennedy Drive and Park Presidio Bypass Drive. The sculpture was placed here by the Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West to commemorate the dead of World War I. It was created by M. Earl Cummings and dedicated June 2, 1930.
