A wisteria arbor highlights the Zellerbach Garden, dedicated by Mrs. Stephen B. Coney in 1967 in honor of her grandmother. The current arbor is a renovation and expansion of the previous structure.The arbor offers visitors a fragrant and relaxing respite from a long day of exploring. A terraced walking path, additional arbors and larged potted plants were added when the existing arbor (pictured below) was replaced.


The Arthur L. Menzies Garden of California Native Plants is one of several special gardens within Strybing Arboretum. Stroll through this garden to view native plants in their natural environment.

The Moon Viewing Pavillion and Garden (pictured right), was presented to Golden Gate Park in 1977 by members of Ikebana International. Located within the arboretum, the area is available for moon viewing by pre-arrangement for any large group. For more information, call 415-661-1316.
