Tree Blooming in the Park
Return to map

In spring, the park comes alive with new blooming. Getting out of the car and walking the trails and paths of Golden Gate Park is the best way to explore areas not easily seen from the main roadways. This area is located near the rustic bridge at Stow Lake.

Sitting under a canopy of blooming cherry trees
is a wonderful and unique experience. This group, located near the Japanese Tea Garden, provide a favorite spot for picnicking or leisurely read.
Spectacular displays of flowering trees, such as magnolia, cherry crab apple and plum trees can be found throughout the park. This cherry tree is located at Middle Drive where it meets JFK Drive.
